How to Fight Back Against Witches As a Believer

Being obedient to God has landed me on the radar of some witches, some wizards, some warlocks and some covens. At the end of 2016, a dear friend of mine was instructed to cover me every single day in 2017 and to use Psalm 91 to do it. That was the year witches began to launch a full attack against me. It’s been on and popping ever since. The weapons formed but didn’t prosper. God always had a ram in the bush, a strategy at hand, something covering me, etc. It wasn’t until my fifth spiritual warfare conference in 2023 that we received the insight I’m here to drop today.

I had a client last week that was by far the most disturbing warfare I have heard to date. I recently realized that every time my earthly credentials change, God allows higher levels of warfare to find their way to me. When I got married and my covering was official, the warfare my clients told me about was wild. After this client, clearly obtaining my Ph.D. has launched me into a new level of warfare.  I’m always amazed because even though the attacks are ones I haven’t heard before, the weapons of our warfare are tried and true and I have always been able to pull something out of my arsenal to help those in need. Won’t He do it!

If you are a believer and are being attacked by witches, and YES believers can be attacked by witchcraft, then you need to understand the weapon of your warfare – Powers Angels. This tactic plays out vividly in my most recent release, “The Gatekeepers: When Women War.” If you are looking to understand warfare at a higher level, this is a great book for insight, revelation and strategy. We stumbled across this information during the attack against my 2023 Spiritual Warfare Conference – Changing of the Guards. My intercessory team and I have always been well equipped to handle whatever the enemy throws our way in warfare because the Holy Spirit instructed me on how to strategically and intentionally cover a Kingdom Assignment. He gave me the Principle of Twelve. One person that felt the brunt of the attacks was my boyfriend, at the time, he’s now my husband. The closer it would get to the conference; his health would be attacked. This happened all four years, but the fifth year, the enemy kicked it up a notch. The week of the conference, the attack on his heath was so strong, I went to his house and got into his guest bedroom closet and began to call down fire from heaven. After that I was so exhausted from the nonstop warfare we had been enduring that week and trying to finalize all the last-minute details and whatever chaos ensued as it pertained to the conference, I remember laying on his sofa and passing out.

When I awoke the next morning, I had a message from one of the intercessors. During the second watch she was tasked with covering him. She had a vision of this man who was hovering over him while he slept, except he had a demonic and skeletal face. She knew it was a witch astral projecting.  The witch was trying to take him out. She was battling in prayer and got fed up with the viciousness of the attack, so she was about to cut his silver cord. Now if you don’t know what that is, we’ll have to pin that for a later conversation. Anyways, the Holy Spirit stopped her and told her not to do that because if she did, that man would not have a chance to repent. Instead, He informed her to, “Call for powers angels to deal with human spirits.” She did and that was that on that. When I went to tell him about it, he was telling me about a dream he had and described a man that looked very similar to one she had seen driving away on a street near his home looking very angry as if something didn’t go his way. So, there you have it folks. The kingdom intel we received was of course… credible.

Side note: Now I know there are some teachings out there that will tell you to cut the silver cord. Yes this is a real thing (Ecclesiastes 12:6).  Look here, this act disallows that person from ever returning back to their physical body. They are trapped for eternity. I don’t recommend you taking this approach especially since you may not be equipped to handle the viciousness of the retaliation. Witches deeply mourn their fallen when this is done and they seek heavy vengeance. Also, you remove the opportunity for these people to repent and choose Jesus as their Lord and savior. All warfare should be governed by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Fast forward to last week. After this new client finished telling me her very disturbing story, I told her she needed to call for powers angels to deal with human spirits. Witches were harassing her in ways I didn’t even know was possible. She had knowledge of God and the Bible. She knew things about the spirit realm, but she didn’t have the language or the insight to fight back at the level of her attack. After our consultation, there was a retaliatory attack from her speaking to me and obeying what God had been telling her to do. In the realm of the spirit, she saw a creature like an alligator coming for her. She called for a powers angel to assist her. This is what she sent me, “Dr. Melinda, this huge angel walked through the door and dealt with that and told me what else I needed to ********************************.” This was SO DOPE and it’s also her tea and not mine to spill. I just needed to provide that receipt because I actually learned more about how these particular angels operate from her encounter.

Calling for powers angels to come and assist you in warfare does not absolve you from a consistent prayer life, fasting, living a consecrated (holy) life, and having a relationship with God's word. This tactic of warfare is to help you when you are engaging in active warfare in the realm of the spirit in the specific case of witches attacking you. Also, this is a tactic of warfare for BELIEVERS. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior, this angelic help isn't available to you. At the end of this blog, I will include the steps for accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and savior.

Now, let’s talk about ways that Christians who are saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost can still be attacked by witches and witchcraft.

† Bloodline Sins – Sins in your bloodline where your ancestors made a demonic agreement that gives access to the lives of those in the bloodline. That access point must be closed. That agreement must be repented for, denounced, and renounced. This may require a petition in the Courts of Heaven. If you are married, the access can come from your spouses bloodline. If you have children and are not married to their mother/father, the access can come from your children's bloodline. (Exodus 20:3-5)

† Open Sin In Your Life – There are some Christians who proclaim Christ with their mouth, but not their lifestyle. If you are a Christian that is fornicating, for example, that is open sin and the enemy can attack your life at will. Satan no longer needs God's permission to attack our lives if sin is present, that is his permission. Should he choose to use witchcraft as the tool, that’s his legal right. (Job 1:1-12)

†Hidden Sin In Your Life – You may be operating in a sin and not aware of it such as bitterness or unforgiveness. This is an open access point, and the enemy has legal right to attack your life in whatever we he sees fit, witchcraft included. No matter what was done to you, according to the laws in the realm of the spirit, and the word of God, this is a sin. (Ephesians 4:31-32; Matthew 6:14-15)

†Demonic Objects in Your Possession – Having an object in your home or dwelling places that belongs to the Kingdom of Darkness is like having a demonic embassy in your space. They can come at will and attack including through witchcraft. These items can come from past relationships, disobedience, a gift someone gave you, or something the enemy strategically sent to infiltrate your home. I will include a strategy on how to get rid of these objects at the end of this blog. (Deuteronomy 7:25-26; Joshua 7)

† Mixing The Things of God with the Demonic – If you are a Christian, but are burning sage, using crystals, doing yoga, reading your horoscope, using tarot cards, or anything that is new age AND praying, these things belong to the Kingdom of Darkness and therefore invite darkness into your life. The things of God don’t need help. This is idolatry. (Deuteronomy 18:9-12 KJV; Deuteronomy 12:4)

† Obedience Must Be Fulfilled - If you are working on an assignment from God or engaged in a war in the realm of the spirit, obedience has to be fulfilled. Meaning you must COMPLETE whatever the assignment is - writing the book, creating the podcast, hosting the conference, enduring the FULL battle to completion before the level of protection that's tied to that obedience can be received. During the window of your obedience from onset to completion the enemy has the opportunity to attack you to get you to not complete the assignment by throwing all kinds of warfare and attacks your way. (2 Corinthians 10:6)

† High Level Warfare - If you rank high in the spirit, you will be consistently contending with witches, wizards, warlocks, practitioners, and occult level witchcraft. It comes with the territory. (Insight on Spiritual Identity - Bottom of the Page - Link)
