The Kingdom Lounge Community is the place where the structure of the academy meets the warmth of community. Created as an extension of The Sonship Protocol, this membership provides an affordable space for believers, readers, students, and lifelong learners to remain connected, continue growing, engage in meaningful conversations, and enjoy a little fun along the way. While The Sonship Protocol Academy provides structured, progressive training through its three-part curriculum, the Community offers ongoing enrichment without assignments, prerequisites, deadlines, or the pressure of completing a course.

For $25 per month, members receive access to fresh monthly teaching, live discussion, an expanding archive of resources, and two distinct book-club experiences. The Community is designed for those who want continued access to biblical teaching and thoughtful conversation while also getting to experience the more relaxed, book-loving side of Melinda Michelle.

Monthly Teaching

Each month, members receive a new prerecorded teaching exploring a biblical, spiritual, or Kingdom-centered topic. Many of these teachings will allow Dr. Gwendolyn Jefferson to expand upon the studies, prayer encounters, biblical research, and insights first introduced through her written blogs. Rather than simply rereading the original material, these sessions provide room to dig deeper into the Scripture, historical and theological context, practical application, and additional insights surrounding the subject. Because the teaching is prerecorded, members can watch when it fits their schedules and return to it whenever necessary.

Monthly Q&A

Once each month, the Community gathers for a live Q&A session. This is an opportunity to ask questions about the month's teaching, revisit previous Community teachings, discuss biblical concepts, and receive clarification on topics that warrant further conversation.

The Q&A provides the interactive component of the Community without turning membership into another formal course. There is nothing to complete and no requirement to attend live. Members who cannot participate in real time can catch the replay when their schedules permit.

The Reading Cave

Welcome to The Reading Cave—our paced book-club experience.

​

This is where we pick a book, establish a reading schedule, and journey through it together. Instead of everybody reading at completely different speeds and trying desperately not to spoil the good parts, The Reading Cave creates a collective reading experience. Members progress through designated sections of the book during an established reading period, giving everyone an opportunity to experience the story together.

​

Once we've reached the end, we'll gather for an actual book discussion and unpack the story as a community—the characters, themes, favorite moments, questionable decisions, things that made us laugh, things that made us mad, and, of course, those plot twists.

​

The Reading Cave isn't a literature class. There is no book report due. 😂 Come read, enjoy the story, and talk about it with people who love books too.

Spoilers & Shenanigans

Welcome to Spoilers & Shenanigans. This is the place for readers who have made it to the final page and need somewhere to discuss EVERYTHING. Unlike The Reading Cave, there are no spoiler restrictions here. The ending is fair game. The secret somebody kept for 200 pages is fair game. The character you wanted to reach through the book and shake is fair game. And that plot twist you absolutely did not see coming? We are DEFINITELY talking about it.

This is also where readers get to hang out with Melinda Michelle—the Queen of Plot Twists—and go behind the story. Discussions can explore why characters made certain choices, clues hidden throughout the book, themes readers discovered, connections between books and series, and the occasional question of, "Ma'am...WHY would you do that to us?!" 😂 Spoilers & Shenanigans operates under one very important rule: enter at your own risk. If you haven't finished the book, you have been warned.

The Community Library

Community membership continues to become more valuable over time. Monthly teachings, Q&A sessions, book discussions, and other designated Community sessions will be recorded and archived inside the membership for later access.

Members do not have to rearrange their lives around a live schedule in order to benefit from the Community. Miss a Q&A? Watch the replay. Discover the Community six months after a teaching you needed was released? Visit the archive. Want to revisit an old book discussion after rereading the novel? Go back and watch it again.

Over time, the Community Library will develop into an expanding collection of biblical teaching, conversations, questions and answers, book discussions, and supplemental resources available as part of active membership.
