The Life of a Kingdom Scribe – Part 3: Writing for Heaven

"If you've ever read my books, you know I write for Heaven." That has become more than a statement to me—it is the assignment that has shaped every page I have written. A Kingdom Scribe is not simply an author who writes about biblical topics. A Kingdom Scribe serves as a steward of revelation, recording what the Holy Spirit desires to release into the earth at the appointed time. Our responsibility is not to chase trends or produce what is popular. Our responsibility is to remain yielded enough for Heaven to entrust us with its message.

When I look back over my writing career, I see a consistent thread that only God could have woven together. Whether I have written about spiritual warfare, strategic prayer, kingdom identity, intercession, authority, or the believer's responsibility to take territory, every book has carried the same purpose: to equip the Body of Christ with what Heaven was saying. My assignment has never been to entertain though I am thankful that was the outcome of my fiction work. It has always been to prepare. Every warfare strategy, every teaching on rank and authority, every lesson on prayer and every curriculum has been an attempt to place in the hands of God's people the tools they would need for the battles ahead.

One of the most humbling aspects of this calling is realizing that a Kingdom Scribe often writes ahead of the moment. The Holy Spirit is not confined to our present circumstances. He sees the end from the beginning, and sometimes He allows His scribes to document tomorrow's conversations years before the world is ready to have them. Looking back at manuscripts I wrote in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, I now watch subjects that once seemed unusual become common discussions. Ideas that were largely overlooked are now entering mainstream conversations. That has never been about personal recognition. It has been a reminder that Heaven's calendar operates differently than ours. Sometimes a scribe writes the seed years before the harvest appears.

This reality has taught me patience. There are seasons when you release a book that few understand because it was written for a future audience. The assignment is still to obey. Kingdom Scribes cannot measure success solely by immediate response because many of the words we carry are prophetic in nature. They are preserved until the generation, circumstance, or battle they were written to address arrives. Obedience is measured by faithfulness to the One giving the revelation, not by the speed at which the world embraces it.

That is why I often say that my pen is a weapon. It is not merely an instrument for storytelling or information. Under the direction of the Holy Spirit, it becomes a tool that advances the Kingdom of God. Every page has the potential to dismantle deception, strengthen believers, expose spiritual opposition, establish biblical truth, and prepare God's people for what lies ahead. A yielded pen becomes another expression of spiritual warfare because it releases truth into places where darkness has long been unchallenged.

The life of a Kingdom Scribe is ultimately one of surrender. Every manuscript begins with the same question: "Lord, what do You want to say?" My greatest desire is not simply to publish another book but to faithfully echo Heaven's voice in the earth. If my writing accomplishes anything, I pray it leaves behind more than words. I pray it leaves strategy, clarity, courage, and a generation of believers who are better equipped to fulfill their own assignments because they encountered what Heaven chose to reveal through a surrendered pen.
